Registration

The Northeast Region of the Alabama Council for Technology in Education serves the following counties in northeast Alabama: Cherokee, DeKalb, and Jackson. Public and private (including home) schools in any of these counties are welcome to participate.

The steps to complete the registration are the following:

1) Complete the following registration form and submit no later than Friday, January 14, 2022, to show your intent to participate in the fair.

2) Within three days of receiving the registration form, we will then send a link to access the school roster form. On the form, you will need to include the student's name, project name (if known), category, level, and T-shirt size. The roster form will need to be submitted no later than Friday, January 21, 2022, to have sufficient time to assign student numbers. 

3) Once the school roster form has been completed, we will assign project numbers on the roster within three days that students will need to use on their videos explaining their projects. 

4) Once you have received those numbers from us, students may begin submitting their videos with the project number we assigned them. You will then download the Project Entry Sheets and Release Forms found on the NACC ACTE website (actenortheast.org). Each student participating will need to complete both forms.

5) After all necessary forms are completed, all videos, portfolios, and forms will need to be submitted via Google Drive. We will provide the software link. All entries will need to be submitted no later than Friday, February 11, 2022.

6) Each school will be invoiced for the registration fees ($15 per student) by February 18, 2022.


DEADLINES ARE ABSOLUTE. 
PLEASE ASSURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR ENTRIES IN ON TIME.
LATE REGISTRATIONS BEYOND THE
DEADLINE OF FEBRUARY 11
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
